Herringbone Wins Orchid Design Award


Herringbone, the latest restaurant Thomas designed for Top Chef Brian Malarkey in La Jolla, California, was just awarded the Orchid Award for Restaurant Interior Design which is given by the San Diego Architectural Foundation.  If you can get to La Jolla, the restaurant is really worth checking out!  The large converted warehouse space features six huge indoor olive trees, a wall of lobster boxes full of inflated puffer fish, seven original large paintings by Thomas, and a whale skeleton inside a metal blimp frame hanging over the bar.  The food is also outstanding.  We are excited that people are noticing this special place.
